Medal for Heroism

Awarded by the Department of the Army to any JROTC cadet who performs an act of heroism.

Superior Cadet

Awarded annually by the Department of the Army to one outstanding cadet in each LET level.

Distinguished Cadet

Annual Award presented by the Superintendent to the cadet who exhibits the highest degree of excellence in scholastics.

Academic Excellence

Annual Award presented by the Principal to the one cadet in each LET (Leadership Education Training) level who maintains highest school academic grades.

Academic Achievement

Awarded annually to those cadets who maintain a grade of "A" in all academic subjects.

Perfect Attendance

Awarded to any cadet who has no unexcused absences or tardies for each semester.

Student Government

Awarded by the Principal to cadets who are elected to a student government office.

Leadership Development Service

Awarded to cadets who successfully complete each LET level.

Beta Club

Awarded to cadets who are members of the Beta Club.

Gold Star of Honor

Awarded to cadets attaining an (A) in JROTC and at least half of their other classes for a semester.

Silver Star of Honor

Awarded to cadets attaining an (A) in JROTC and no grade lower than a (B) for a semester.

Bronze Star of Honor

Awarded to cadets attaining an (A) in JROTC and no grade lower than a (C) for a semester.

Leadership

Awarded to one cadet in each LET level who displays the highest degree of leadership.

Personal Appearance

Awarded annually to cadets who consistently present outstanding military appearance and bearing and score above 95% on uniform inspections.

Proficiency

Awarded annually to cadets who have demonstrated an exceptionally high degree of leadership academic achievement and performance.

Drill Team

Awarded annually to Drill Team members.

Orienteering

Awarded annually to cadets who are members of orienteering teams.?Also awarded to cadets who complete JCLC (Summer Camp) Land Navigation course.

Color/Honor Guard

Awarded annually to members of the Color/Honor Guard (minimum five events).

Rifle Team

Awarded annually to rifle team members who have been on the team for one year.

Adventure Training

Awarded annually to cadets who are members of Raiders team or participate in adventure training.

Commendation

Awarded to cadets whose performance of duty exceptionally exceeds that expected of cadets of their grade and experience.

Good Conduct

Awarded annually to cadets who have demonstrated outstanding conduct throughout the year.

JCLC Participation

Awarded to any cadet who successfully participates in the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (Summer camp).

Best Drilled Squad

Awarded to each squad member selected as best squad.

Best Drilled Platoon

Awarded to each platoon member selected as best platoon.

7 Minute Mile Club

Awarded to each cadet completing the mile in 7 Minutes or less.

Mile Proficiency Ribbon

Awarded males mile 8:30 or less, females 10:45 or less.

Varsity Athletics

Awarded annually to cadets that excel in varsity sports.

N-2-2

Physical Fitness

Awarded annually to cadets who participate in the Cadet Challenge and maintain excellent physical fitness. Male cadets must run one mile in 8:30 or less females in 10:45 or less. Cadets are eligible if they receive an 85-percentile rating or better in all 5 events.

JROTC Athletics

Awarded to cadets who excel in the Cadet Challenge and JROTC athletics.?Cadets are eligible if they receive a 50-percentile rating or better in all 5 Cadet Challenge events.

Team Excellence

Awarded to members of JROTC teams (includes Drill Team Color Guard Raiders Rifle Team) that successfully compete at the district level or higher.

Marksmanship Ribbon

Awarded to each cadet who receives a qualifying score.

Parade

Awarded to any cadet who participates in a community parade or ceremony as a representative of JROTC or the band.

Recruiting

Awarded to any cadet who recruits students into the JROTC Program or for recruiting visit to local middle school.

Support Association Overall Excellence

Awarded to one male and female in each LET level for overall.

Support Association Outstanding Service

Awarded for excellence throughout the year.

Awarded to each cadet of the month.

Service Learning

Awarded annually to cadets who participate in service learning projects.
